Wolverine Boot Sizing and Fitting Guide

You may have several questions as to what size to order and what the letters represent with Wolverine boot sizing. Fit is an essential ingredient in footwear. Properly fit Wolverine shoes and boots will be comfortable to wear right out of the box; they don’t need to be “broken in.” There are few simple guidelines that if followed can make the process easy. Whenever possible, have your foot measured with a Brannock device by a shoe care professional. Using a Brannock device is the most accurate method to determine your shoe size and width. Have questions about boot width? Below are all the wide range of widths that Wolverine offers. N=Narrowest width B = Narrow width D = Average or medium width M = Equal to a ‘D’ or medium width E or W = the narrower of the ‘Wide’ widths 2E or EW= Extra wide width 3E= A little wider than a 2E width 4E= Our widest width offering.

Note: Not all of Wolverines styles are offered in the above widths.

After receiving your boots
Once you receive your boots, lace them up and try them on indoors. To make sure they are the correct fit, start by tapping your heel into the back of the boot. The boot should feel snug across the ball, around the instep, and in the heel. The arch should be comfortably supported and the toes should be free to wiggle and curl. Your toes should not jam into the front of the boot. Check this by lightly tapping the toe of the boot into the floor. If the boot fits correctly, the toes should gently touch the end of the boot.
